With over 50 recognized student organizations, there's a club for every interest at UODNB. Browse our full list below and find your community.

Academic & Professional

Student Government Association (SGA) — The voice of the student body. SGA organizes campus events, allocates funding to student organizations, and advocates for student interests with university administration.
Debate Society — Compete in regional and national debate tournaments. All skill levels welcome.
Philosophy Club — Weekly discussions on ethics, logic, and contemporary philosophical questions. Open to all majors.
Biology Club — Lab trips, guest speakers, and service projects for biology enthusiasts.
Business Leaders of America (BLA) — Networking events, case competitions, and career development for business students.
Computer Science Club — Hackathons, coding workshops, and tech talks. Builds the campus coding community.

Arts & Culture

UODNB Marching Band — Performs at all home football games and represents UODNB in regional competitions. Auditions held each fall.
Art Club — Gallery visits, workshops, and the annual student art show.
Photography Club — Weekly photo walks, editing workshops, and the campus photo exhibit.

Greek Life

Alpha Phi Delta — Service-oriented sorority focused on leadership and community engagement.
Beta Sigma Kappa — Fraternity emphasizing scholarship, brotherhood, and philanthropy.
Gamma Omega — Co-ed Greek organization dedicated to community service and cultural awareness.

Recreation & Sports

Intramural Sports — Flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and softball leagues. No tryouts — just show up and play.

Community & Identity

Volunteer Corps — Organizes campus-wide service days and ongoing partnerships with local nonprofits.
International Student Association (ISA) — Celebrates global cultures through food festivals, cultural nights, and travel talks.
Pride Alliance — Safe space and advocacy group for LGBTQ+ students and allies.

Special Interest

Gaming Club — Board game nights, video game tournaments, and tabletop RPG sessions.

Start a New Club

Don't see a club that fits your passion? Starting one is easy:

Gather at least 5 interested students.
Find a faculty or staff advisor.
Write a brief constitution and mission statement.
Submit your application through the Student Activities office.
Once approved, you'll receive funding access and official recognition.

New club applications are reviewed monthly during the fall and spring semesters.

Club Funding

All recognized student organizations are eligible to receive funding from the Student Government Association. Funding covers event costs, supplies, travel to conferences, and speaker honorariums.

How to Request Funding

Submit a funding request form at least two weeks before your event.
Include a detailed budget and event description.
Funding decisions are made bi-weekly by the SGA Finance Committee.
All funded events must be open to all UODNB students.

Additionally, the Office of Student Life offers mini-grants of up to $500 for new initiatives that enhance campus culture.
