General Admission Requirements

While specific requirements vary by program, the following are required for all graduate applicants:

Bachelor's Degree — A four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent)
Minimum GPA — A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework
Official Transcripts — Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
Statement of Purpose — A 500–750 word essay outlining your academic interests, career goals, and reasons for pursuing graduate study at UODNB
Letters of Recommendation — Typically two to three letters from academic or professional references (varies by program)
Resume or CV — A current resume or curriculum vitae detailing your academic and professional experience
GRE/GMAT Scores — Required for select programs. Check with your department for specific requirements.

Program-Specific Requirements

Some programs have additional requirements beyond the general admission criteria:

Master of Education (M.Ed.)	Current teaching license; teaching experience recommended
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)	BSN from an accredited program; current RN license; minimum 1 year clinical experience
Master of Social Work (MSW)	BSW from a CSWE-accredited program or equivalent; personal statement addressing interest in social work
Doctoral Programs (Ed.D., Ph.D.)	Master's degree in a related field; GRE required; writing sample; interview with faculty committee
