UODNB's five research centers bring together interdisciplinary teams to tackle complex problems. Each center is led by a distinguished faculty director and offers opportunities for graduate and undergraduate collaboration.

Center for Biomedical Research

Director: Dr. Hans Pfister

Focused on membrane protein structure and function, the Center for Biomedical Research advances understanding of cellular processes with direct implications for drug development and disease treatment.
